The cuts to domestic violence services are not always obvious. The government might announce a £40 million refuge fund – but the reality is that this is a drop in the ocean, and made redundant by the ongoing brutal cuts that services are facing from local councils. The cuts can be complicated, but the reality is simple: lives are at risk. We made this video to make things a bit clearer.
Tomorrow is #Budget2017 and we’re telling Theresa May to put her money where her mouth is: provide a long term, secure plan for funding domestic violence services.
